As part of the ongoing rehabilitation project in 9th Avenue West Garage, the following upcoming impacts will take place in the coming weeks:
Now through Sept. 27: Drain repairs at entrance exit lanes
The southeast exit onto 8th Avenue will be closed through Sept. 27 for drain repair. Please use the north exit during this time.
Now through early October: Stairwell repairs
Repairs in the stairwells will be phased in the north main stairwell/elevator to limit inconvenience.
Now through Oct. 11: Miscellaneous repairs
Restoration repairs in the garage will be ongoing between now and Oct. 11, which may close fewer than 20 parking spaces throughout the garage.
Starting 10 a.m. Sept. 27 and through Sept. 29, and starting 10 a.m. Oct. 4 and through Oct. 6: Ramp repairs
The interior vehicular circulation ramps require overhead repairs. This work will occur over two weekends when traffic volumes are lowest. Depending on how the work goes, it may continue early into the week. During this time, two-way traffic on the ramps inside the garage will be required. Signs will be posted to assist, but we suggest drivers exercise caution on and around the ramps for safety purposes.
Sept. 30 through Oct. 6: Drain repairs at entrance/exit lanes
The west entrance off Medical Center Drive will be closed between Sept. 30 and October 6. Please use the north entrance off 9th Avenue during this time.
Oct. 11-14: Final power washing
Entrances will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, October 11, and all vehicles must exit the garage by 8 p.m. to facilitate post construction power washing. Alternative parking can be found by checking SpaceTracker on the CampusParc website. Medical Center staff who are "WA" or "WB" parking permit holders should use the 9th Avenue East Garage. The garage is expected to re-open by 5 a.m. Monday, October 14.
CampusParc is working with the contractor to limit impacts on garage patrons. A majority of the work is occurring during evening and weekend hours. We appreciate your continued patience as needed repairs take place and apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
