Appeal a Citation

We recognize that in the process of maintaining parking compliance, there may be occasional situations that need reevaluated. Mistakes can happen, and when they do, we want to be certain that we make things right. Please review the following information to determine if submitting an appeal makes sense in your situation.

Citation appeals must be received within 15 days of the date of issuance; otherwise, the right to appeal is forfeited and the citation must be paid.

Appeal FAQs

To submit an appeal, you will need to provide your license plate number, as well as the citation number provided on your physical citation. You will also provide an explanation as to why an appeal is warranted. You are encouraged to add as much relevant information and supporting documentation as possible to assist in the review process.

Please note: While you are limited in the length of your appeal statement, you can submit up to two supporting documents/pictures. If you have a lengthy statement, you may wish to convert your statement to a PDF document. Documents cannot exceed 2MB.

Appeals must be submitted online. To start the process, simply click the button below. You will be prompted to login to your account or create an account if you do not already have one. Once you are logged in, you'll be taken to the appeals submission page.

  • Absent extraordinary circumstances, an appeal submitted later than 15 days from the citation issue date will not be reviewed.
  • Disregard of CampusParc parking policies and procedures will not be considered a valid reason to waive a citation.
  • Fire lane, fire hydrant and disability zone parking violations and unauthorized uses of a permit are not waivable offenses and will not be reviewed.
  • If your first appeal was denied and you wish to provide additional documentation (e.g., accident reports, medical records, auto repair bills) for reconsideration, the citation must be paid in full prior to submission. Secondary appeals that simply restate the contents of the original appeal will not be considered.

Please note: If you have already received an impound warning, all outstanding citations must be paid or you will remain in warning status and your vehicle may be booted and/or towed. Submitting an appeal will not take you out of impound warning status.
